Poor Scott Clemmensen. Guy can’t catch any playing time with the Big Devils, so the Baby Devils are giving him a shot.
That’s right, our backup goalie is currently in net against the Worcester Sharks, pitching a shutout through two and a half periods of play while the Baby Devils have two goals to their name. He’s got nearly 30 saves by the way. You go Clemmy!
Probably a conditioning stint for the Clemmer, so don’t be surprised to actually see him…*gasp*…PLAY in one of the Devils-Capitals games this weekend. Oh joy!
UPDATE: Baby Devils win 3-0, Clemmensen with the shutout and 35 saves. Attaboy!
