I heard that Ricky D has post concussion syndrome, so who knows how long he will be out, remember how long it took Capt Crunch to recover. Thank God for Patty’s return, Maddog is skating now and so is Gio. so hopefully anyday now, April 1st is right around the corner, but I will be sad to see Clarkson get sent back down.
i really want Gionta back, but i really don’t wanna see Clarkson go, either. same with Matvichuk. i want him back, but Greene’s probably going so he can come back.
It is Dunham in net. I kind of don’t like it because I have been a fan of Mike for a long time. I hope he gets more starts while DiPietro is out and does well when not facing the Devils.
Clarkson certainly looks like he deserves to be in the NHL. Maybe when Gionta comes back, David can get a spot on the third or fourth line.
According to TSN’s scouting report he can also play center. So if Poomez leaves for greener pastures (read as: more money) next year, Clarkson probably will get a fulltime job. Who knows, perhaps Lou could sign Sykora (who will be a free agent this summer) and we could have a Elias-Clarkson-Sykora line. Wouldn’t that be awesome? OK, I’m getting too far ahead, back to tonights game…
I have always missed Sykora, and Arnott.maybe one of them will come back, then it’s Gomez who? Gomez always plays better when He has a wooby blanket(like Patty) He needs to be pacified to play well and be confident in Himself most 5mil players don’t need that.onto tonight, the Dev’s have beaten Buffalo the last 4 out of 5 is it?

Damn its about time…I’ll be even happier when Madden comes back…and then Gionta. I will say this..I hope Clarkson sticks…he has got talent and size.

Elias return to the Devils couldn’t have come at a better time.
Unfortunately, it’s possible that DiPietro may not play for the Islanders tonight. Yes, Mike Dunham/Wade Dubielewicz aren’t good…but they’re backups.
I hope Elias lights one up against whoever starts in net for the Islanders.
