Oh boy, this is is a big one!
2 Man Advantage started out as my little baby that I immaculately conceived with Joe Bechtel not even one year ago. We gave baby lots of attention and love, keeping her warm at night and making sure she got her bottle when needed. She might have thrown a few temper tantrums and may have vomited all over our jerseys, but nothing stopped us from helping 2MA grow into the giant it is today.
Well, the time has come for our once-young baby to expand even more, and I am very excited to announce the addition of a writing staff to 2MA!
You read right — Darren and I will welcome three new members to the family.
I’d like you all to meet Josh Barnett and Tony Sullivan, the newest teammates on 2 Man Advantage. Josh and Tony are both very skilled writers who have tons and tons of knowledge about the game of hockey, and don’t you worry, they gots lots to say…s.
But wait…Patricia + Darren + Josh + Tony = …not five.
So, uh, who is our fifth member?
Well, folks, I am proud to announce the triumphant return of Joe Bechtel to our staff!
Folks, this is huge news here. I truly am so-amazingly-excited to bring Josh, Tony and Joe aboard. I really feel like we have something special here at 2MA and I can’t thank the readers enough for making this site what it is today. It’s an honor to write about the New Jersey Devils, and I know my partners feel the same way as I do.
This season is going to be a great one here at 2 Man Advantage — we will stop at nothing to bring you the most awesome writing we can possibly write.
Let’s just hope the Devils keep up their part of the deal, eh?

Some playful ‘busting’ angered ‘In Lou’ during the free agency Blitzkrieg - think he took it personally and asked me stay off his site and deleted my comments. He can post his “Why I Hate the New York Rangers”, but cannot take a little heat back. I think the rivalry got a personal.
That’s it. Keep it up. Cannot wait to visit your new Prudential Center…have tickets in the spring for both home matches between our teams.

i just have one question..and i’m sorry if this comes of to be offensive in anyway..it’s not meant to be at all…but..isn’t tony 15??? or do i have him confused with teh amazing tony on myspace?? cause i swear that was his picture for a while..
again don’t mean to be offense if that’s how it sounds. i was just wonderin’. and i’m 15 to, so i’m not trying to say anything offensive.

Congrats to all the staff. I am really looking forward to following next season on this blog, which might I add, is the only blog I view on a daily basis. Keep up the great work 2MA!

Congrats on filling up the Front Five! Independent, on the street sports reporting is the only way to learn what’s really going on, and 2MA has become a favorite.

Ha, that pic is pretty funny!
It was taken at a Friday’s restaurant in Manhattan after the Devils defeated the Rangers in the shootout @ MSG last season.

It’s great that you guys are loading up. It’s like both sites have the similar idea. Great minds and what not.
Anywho, I know 2MA will be one of the go to blogs for my SFM column when it returns for a 2nd Season.
Whether it will be “Around the NHL” still remains to be seen.
