Woulda liked to have posted this sooner, but…
Posted by Josh Burnett under Jibber-Jabber , Post-Game BuzzWith a 2-1 overtime victory over the Islanders that I totally didn’t see at all, the Devils have officially clinched a playoff berth.

Yay!

Great success!
I’ve noticed that we’re picking up those power plays recently. I like this trend.

YAYY!
However…I’d like to start winning in regulation before we start the playoffs.
AND I’d like to lock Andy Greene in a closet so he stops scoring goals for the other team.

Sarah - Did he do it again last night?! I missed the game…I really want to like Andy and I really want him to do well, but…ouch.
I mean, force of will made Johnny Oduya become good, maybe it could work on Andy Greene too…
…right?

Johnny O had the primary assist on both Devs goals and made a couple frantic Defense plays to save scoring chances. The Devils short passing game was excellent last night. With the pressure off, they need to stampede the Bruins tonight. Look out for the Capitals!!

I didn’t see the game either, but heard through the grapevine that he was out of position again on the Isles goal. Sounds like Sutter was more angry with Brookbank on the play though.
Either way, I agree with you, I want to like him, but I think he needs to spend some quality time in Lowell.

Andy did get beat on the play that netted the Isle’s goal, but it was a great effort by Vasicek. Brookbank was on his guy - it wasn’t his fault.
Andy didn’t play particulaly well last night, but didn’t make the huge mistakes that got him sent down, either. Brookbank is a problem that needs to be addressed.
Where the heck is San Salvador???

quick question
im looking at buying playoff tickets and i havent had a chance to go to the rock yet.
Do the devils have an interactive seating chart like the Mets or the Rangers do??
and what kind of view to you get from the 200s. Is it like the 400s at the garden or is it a better seat?
thanks

Who is that guy in the no. 29 jersey and what has he done with the Johnny Oduya we used as a whipping boy? *Ahem* not that there is anything wrong with the guy in 29 now.

I have been to the Rock many times and sat all over. There is not a bad sight line.

There is not a bad seat in the arena. I’ve sat down at ice level, and the last row in the entire arena. I actually prefer the seats that are higher you have a great view of the entire game and the fans are extremley enthusiastic up there.
