Hmmm. First, Patricia makes a completely unsolicited pledge to wear the Broadway Blues. Now, as seen above, she apparently has a closet absolutely chock full of Ranger regalia.
Is there something you want to tell your readers, madam?
It’s OK, you can come write for us if they disown you.
All right you Joisey Devils of Newark, bring on the ‘obnoxious Ranger smack’, bring on the Marty is better than Henrik, and bring on the Scottie Sucks Now That He Is a Ranger talk…
With all the hype and two teams that play obnoxiously defensive systems (the Devils historically being one of the best), it is nice being one of those teams that seems to get under your skin. The Ranger have your number this season.
Inside all those little Red and White jersies, there is all a little Manhattan inside of you – a spec of RANGERS DNA – and I’ll even go on the line that all Devils fans come to Manhattan on the weekends — BECAUSE THAT IS WHERE THE FUN IS!!! Not in Newark, folks. You just may not be willing to admit it…yet. Feeling Blue? Jump onboard the Blueshirts.
Two things Sutter has to do if the Devils are going to win the series:
1) Teach the Devs to not shoot into Lundqvist’s chest but still hit the net. Get these guys a f’n shooter tutor.
2) Realize that the Devs lost leads in 4 of the games because they sat back and waited for the Rangers to capitalize on defensive mistakes. With this defense, it’s bound to happen a few times a game.
And now for Smack Talk:
Lundqvist is all hype. Look at the last game where both goals were major screwups on his part (you don’t leave the post and you always play the shot). Ring him up a few times and his confidence is hurt and he stops challenging the way he should. A few more goals and he’ll ask Renney to pull him even if Renney doesn’t want to. Again, look back to the 2006 series where the Devs lit him up and Renney went with Weekes the next game.
Anyone know if Salvador is ready to go. We need a 6 foot 2 215LB defenseman with experience and a +12 rating on the 3rd pairing. Vinesheski and Greene just give me nightmares.
Thanks for the knowledge Dana B. I will be at the game today with my Red Devs Jersey. The Devs key to victory is to hit, hit, hit the Rangers while not getting caught out of position. Also, the Devs need to win the special teams battle. Lets go Devs!!!!
as a Ranger fan I must say that copying the Devils system is one of the greatest decisions the Rangers have made in the last 10 years.
I’ll admit i’m afraid of Marty’s ability to turn into a brick wall and Zach Parise to a lesser degree but if Henrik can play on the same level than Marty and/or Jagr turns his game up a notch then the Devils are going to have a hard time winning games.

Here’s to the obnoxious Rangers fan that sat behind me last night. There should be a moratorium on smack talk after you lose a game. For real.
But props to by daughter for a witty response to chants of “7 and 1!! 7 and 1!!” when she said, “And yet, you still lose.”
“”HaHa!”, sneers the obnoxious rangers fan. “We beat you seven times this year!”
“But you couldn’t win the one that mattered.”, calmly retorted my smack-talking progeny.
Good times. I couldn’t have been prouder.

i’m looking to buy tickets at the ROCK but i’ve never been to the new arena yet so i have a question.
I go on ticketmaster and i get section 25 and i try again and i get section 27 but i look at the seating chart and there is no section 25 or 27.
What’s the deal???

Not to stir the pot but what do the good folks at 2MA think of Stan Fischler’s prediction (shock, Rangers in 7)?
Hasan on Mon, 7th Apr 2008 9:22 pm
I’m about 98% sure sections 25 and 27 are seats in the Goal Bar.
