I know Newark isn't exactly wealthy, or a tourist attraction, but the location of the arena is fine. There are plenty of cops in the area, including in between the train station and arena itself, it's well lit, there's enough parking. I would say the Rock is in as good a location as any arena, especially in Jersey. I like being able to take the train to the game instead of paying $15 for parking. It's not New York.
