What have we learned so far this season? thumbnail

One thing.

Andy Greene = Wins.

I mean, how else can you explain this team being 4-3, with the Lean Greene Hockey Playin’ Machine in the lineup for all four wins, and out of it for all three losses?

Clearly it’s not home ice, they proved they can win there tonight.  So it must be Andy.  It just must.

Oh, and about those 2 Man Advantages the Devils can’t seem to convert on…uh…not our fault.  We’re a different sort of 2 Man Advantage.  Though I swear, if they can’t connect on a 2MA soon, I WILL rename this blog “It’s A Trap!”, so help me God.

That is all.

No really, even TG has acknowledged this:

“The Devils are 4-0 with Greene in the lineup [and 0-3 when Cory Murphy plays].”

As a Jet fan and a Met fan, I cant wait for the Devils to play their next game. Also, being a Met fan and Jet fan has officaly made me realize that God hates me. It’s the only explanation why I have been screwed over so much. Well, atleast I got the Devils for know.

I’m with ya Max. Between the way the Devils went out last year and the Mets entire summer (and the distinct possibility – nay, probability, that this crappy baseball season will end with a Phillies/Yankees World Series as one final slap in the face of Mets fans), I’m wondering what awful thing I did to make god hate my sports teams so much.

Don’t really care for the Jets or Giants personally, but I’m a Seahawks fan, so life isn’t much better there. And when I bother to care about basketball, it’s the Nets, and we all know how that’s going.

Here’s to an awesome Devils season to erase the recent sporting failure past. The win last night exorcised a lot of demons towards that.
