I hate when hockey fans turn into assholes.
Seriously, guys, get over it. Your team lost. What, you’re all pissy because King Henrik finally faultered in the shootout, so you think you have the right to go and physically assault a rival fan?
Messed up, I’ll tell you what.
We’re all hockey fans here. Rivalries are great and all, but there’s no need to verbally and physically attack a fellow hockey fan. That’s just lame.

It really is ashame that these types of incidents happen at games. I was appalled when you told me what happened.
The rivalry games even if it is one-sided are supposed to be fun.

Oh it happens…the famous game 7 in 2000 with the Flyers…I watched one poor Devils fan take a beer bottle right to the face as I basically with 2 buddies of mine ran for our lives to the train station. That was a close call I will never forget. Screwed up part is that I miss the old days.
