Haha…nice pic.
I love what he brings. I wish they had more guys like him who play the game hard and go to the net and make goalies’ lives living hell unlike our phantom superstar who’s afraid of anyone even breathing on him. Pansy.
As far as the play in question, debatable. Even Chico after replays seemed to be leaning towards Avery stopping and not taking a cheap run.
From my vantage point, he went around White and had already gotten one shot on net with little room to spare. Replays seemed to indicate he was bracing himself. There really wasn’t a lot of room.
As for Brodeur’s actions, LOL. Nice flop to the ice. Should get an Oscar for that.
For my money, this was an old-time hockey game played that way. The way they all should be played. It’s one of the best games this rivalry has seen in a long time. So many games in recent memory lacked that kind of physicality and passion. What you saw tonight was a great throwback game.
I hope it’s the same Thursday except we win. I know it’s asking for a lot. We have the worst captain in the NHL and the biggest traffic cone on the blueline.

our captin’s not THAT bad…but the fact that he has the flu right now wont help his game…

You really think so tiffany? He just never seems to come up big in these games. How many times do we got to see him look mortal against Jay freaking Pandolfo? I realize he’s good at what he does. But Jagr is supposed to be one of the best players in the game. Against the Devils it’s like he’s not even there.
I was looking at his numbers against them and they’re not bad. 3-3-6 and +4 in 7 games.
Oddly enough none of those points have come on the power play.
But if we took a poll, how many would say that Jagr made a real impact in these contests? That’s the mark of a star who must step up in big spots.
How many more years does our team have to play bridesmaids to theirs? I don’t care what the record says. They dominated the last 25 minutes of the last two games and came away with 1 point. That just doesn’t cut it.

I think that Brodeur’s face looks really fat in that first picture, but when his ass is getting less dominated, it doesn’t look so fat.
