Alexander Korolyuk is still a New Jersey Devil…well, in name at least.

He's a man without a team...sort of.Because the disgruntled Russian failed to report to his Sharks physical, San Jose cancelled the deal with the Devils, leaving New Jersey with a talented winger who just doesn’t want to play in North America. The Sharks get their third round pick back.

For those who are scratching their heads wondering who the heck Korolyuk even is, he was originally acquired from the Sharks back in October for fellow disgruntled Russian Vlad Malakhov and a conditional first round pick. No word on whether the first round pick was disgruntled or not, though.

In zero games this year, Korolyuk has registered zero goals and zero assists for zero points. Oh, he also has zero penalty minutes and skates at a plus zero….err…rather, even. Now THAT’S consistency.
