Well, here we go again.  Another afternoon clunker, this time against the Bruins.  Before I begin, allow me to whine:  I am still aggravated over the time change!  A 1pm game would be great on a Sunday.  Thanks, NBC! 

Ok, crankiness aside, The Devils seriously need to bang these guys around.  Boston is perhaps the worst coordinated team in the league, yet we let ‘da bears’ help themselves to a 2-1 season series lead.  All I can say is that with the fight for the Division the way it is, you cannot afford to let precious points slip through your fingers.  And by ‘precious points’ I mean ‘2 points’.  Because this is Boston.  Then again, it’s no secret New Jersey has some sort of neurological anneyurism when asked to play an afternoon game, so that should just add to the excitement.  But there is a cure, and it’s quite simple really.  Shoot.  Shoot and shoot often.  That means you, Patrik.   

Notes: Gionta is eligible to return to the Devils lineup today, so that is an awesome boost.  Gomez is listed as day-to-day with a bruised thigh and it is unknown whether or not he will play this afternoon.  (Bring back Clarkson! ).
