IN OTHER ACTION, the Sharkies are up 4-2 over the Nashville Forsbergs, while Dallas/Vancouver and Minnesota/Anaheim kick their series off at 10:00 and 10:30 PM ET. It should be good times. A point of note, if I may, Jonathan Cheechoo took a nasty knee-on-knee hit from Scott Hartnell and has not returned to the ice since. Ouch.
UPDATE:Â Crosby and Gonchar gave the Senators a bit of a scare in the third period with a couple of late goals, but Ottawa holds on to take Game 1 with a 6-3 final.

I was thinking Ottawa would take this series, but not DOMINATE – I mean, it’s only been one game, so you never know… but still. I thought it was hilarious when the analyst was talking about how, when they used amateurs for the CCCP, they weren’t out-played that badly. A while into the second they still only had six shots!
I gotta say, I do have an intense dis-like for the Sens, but this is sort of a lose-lose series for me. I don’t like any of ‘em!
PSYCHED PSYCHED PSYCHED for the game tonight! Won’t get home ’til 9:30 – thank jeebus for DVR!

Good job, but it’s only one game. Remember I said Bolts in 6, so you guys get 1 more! The game was just as expected. Were not for some utimely turnovers, we would have had a different outcome. I know, I know the Devils force mistakes and capitalize, blah blah blah. You guys have your hands full with our guys and from what I have been reading you know it. Game 2 can’t come soon enough! GO BOLTS!!!!!
