EDIT: Holy smokes! AN EMPTY NET GOAL! We never score those! I’m in shock. Great team work gets Parise a freebie, 4-2 Devils. Good times. Devils win. Big win. Yays. Keep with 2MA for some awesomely awesome post game coverage, including an update on Jay Pandolfo.

   Huge confidence game for the team and Marty. He looked like crap on both goals. I thought they should’ve pulled him but Sutter made the right decision.

   I just don’t get it… if you’re the freaking legend of the hockey planet then why do you play THAT sloppy time after time after time after time?? I don’t give a flying duck about all spectacular saves once we’re down 0-2 thanks to you, Mr Hall-of-Famer… although I’d admit that those 3-5 power-play saves were tremendous, certainly not Weeks caliber.

   Sergeich, you are a Rangers fan and just not admitting it, right? There was a ticky tacky sharp angle on the second goal, but on the first goal Jaime gave the puck up at the point letting the guy get a pretty open shot at Marty. Marty had to worry about the guy coming in to his right so he didn’t get completely set for the guy with the puck, and that guy was smart enough to recognize it.

   (And it’s spelled ‘Weekes’, just so you know)
