The Devils are ready for their second battle in as many nights, this time with the Boston Bruins at TD Banknorth “the other” Garden.
Some roster notes to mention right out of the gate, Tom Gulitti reports:
“This is the right decision,” Sutter said. “We’re all 100 percent on this decision and it will probably happen again from now until the end of the season. Kevin Weekes deserves to play, too. He’s been a trouper for us. He’s got a great attitude, he’s a great team guy and plays his heart out in practice and every time he’s gone into the net he’s played his heart out. We didn’t want him to sit for very much longer without getting a start.”

I have no qualms with Laser Beam getting the nod tonight. He’s been impressive in all of his starts this year and leaves me with no reason to be worried.
The Devils have walked away victorious in both of their meetings with the Bruins thus far. The Bruins are hoping a change of the calendar will change some of their luck with New Jersey. Both teams are riding two-game winning streaks coming into tonight’s affair.
I haven’t received any news on the status of Karel Rachunek, I will assume him to be a scratch for tonight’s game. I’m expecting mostly the same lineup from the night before, with Weeksie of course the one exception.
My apologies for a short preview, much ado in the Bechtel household tonight!
Enjoy the game and GO DEVILS!
