Amazing!
One of the best games I’ve ever watched. Between Saint Patrik getting his record and Jamie scoring another to add to his career-high number and of course, the man of the hour, Marty, it was just too great. Games like these make me remember why the New Jersey Devils are my entire life.
Greatest game I’ve ever been to. The energy was great, and the building was jam packed. Patrik got his point, and Marty got the win. Everything about this game was great.
That was special. Tied with David Cone’s perfect game for best sporting event I’ve ever been to.
Holy God.
Just…
Holy God.
I’ll try to put together an article when I can say something besides Holy God.
Best St Patrick’s Day ever (and I’m Irish, I know a good St Patty’s Day when I see one).
…okay, half Irish. But Steve has the Scottish thing covered for this site.
Honestly, hockey has never meant more to me than it does today. Bravo monsieur Brodeur, the main reason why I follow this amazing sport. Also St. Patrik, you’re quite a character sir.
best Devils game atmosphere (at least that I’ve been to) since they won their last cup 6 years ago. maybe the best regular season game (for the accomplishments in the context of the team’s history) in Devils’ history. like one of the signs that I saw during warmups said – 2 for Tuesday – with “St.” Patrick Elias’s record too.
i loved the chant coming from sec 208 “No-one’s better” late in the game instead of “Marty’s better”.
I’ll get video and pictures up somewhere later.
